The Freedom Gala is a fundraiser for the Juneteenth Family Enrichment Program that host’s the Delaware Miss Juneteenth Pageant.  Every year, starting in January, young ladies from ages 8 through 18 attend 6 months of workshops that include Juneteenth and African American history, modeling & public speaking, etiquette, spirituality, self image and essay writing.

They also prepare to participate in the Juneteenth Pageant where young ladies ages 15-18 compete for the title of  “Miss Juneteenth” and the winner goes onto compete for the National Title of “National Miss Juneteenth”.

This year’s Freedom Gala tickets cost:  $100.00 per person ~ $750.0 for a table of 8.
