This event is free to the public. The author, Shelby Van Pelt tells the story of a widowed woman who works nights as a cleaner at an aquarium, and her unlikely friendship with a highly intelligent giant Pacific octopus, where Marcellus the octopus, helps Tova, the cleaning woman, uncover the truth behind her son’s mysterious disappearance that occurred decades ago, reigniting hope in the process; the novel explores themes of grief, loss, and the unexpected connections between humans and animals.

Please join us on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025 @ the Chase Center on the Riverfront.  815 Justison Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.  There is plenty of free parking.
